Really? Fabs! I generally just use Alka Seltzer, I mean I love pink, but Pepto seems like it's just trying so. darn. hard. to be pink. Y'know? The whole thing smacks of effort.

lol, I wish I could get some radioactive candy! Most projects I just can an idea that I'm so excited about it gives me the energy to start it :3 though of course there are days and days that I don't work in the studio at all. For the dolls it's usually a wig or an outfit that inspires me, and I feel like I just have to work with it. Art Plonsjeroze is my fashion muse, I don't think my work would be nearly as good without her. If she ever retires I'd be crushed!

Thanks so much! Babette is flattered. I got her from Oilily a few years ago. I keep forgetting that she isn't one of a kind though, lol, she has such a huge personality of her own!

I'm still deciding but I really want to meet you IRL so that a big tick in the "pros" column! :D

That's very sweet of you :3 As time goes on I try my best to make the girls as perfect as possible. I work with them very close (probably too close for it to be good for my eyesight) because I want them to look good being held in your hand, not just when they're up on a shelf. To get the paint smooth I water down the acrylic and do a lot of thin coats, that way it's opaque without being too brush-strokey. I know air brush is popular but my dolls are not cheap and I think people are happier knowing I spent hours painting them and not minutes :D

Actually I do! A few patrons have stopped in and discussed designs before I began work on their girls, which is great, especially because there are so many options for each piece. I really love meeting with people in person, especially when I am going to create something that is especially for them.
