I don't really care about shoes, to be honest with you. As long as they are comfy and I like the way the look enough to buy them, I'm happy. I would keep my converse, but I'd only be throwing about 6 pairs out, I just don't have many to start with!

When I worked as an export admin assistant at Zodiac. That was pretty terrible! I had to work in french some of the time and didn't even have a basic understanding of the language! Plus they ended up lumping a load of credit notes and a great big accounting mess on me, half of which was in foreign languages. I don't have any accountancy training so it was sorta confusing - it would have been confusing enough in English let alone french etc! To add insult to injury, there were some awful people working there and I was paid pittance!

The correct answer is the Milkshakes, tea makes me pee a lot and tastes a bit funny.

The Secret Island by Enid Blyton. I loved it (still do!), and I think we had about 3 copies in the house so we wouldn't fight over it.

I really have no idea! I'm proud of quite a few things I've done; getting my degree, organising our wedding just with James, getting picked to represent the Uk for the iace programme... I just can't pick!

Awww, thank you! I guess you get to be like me (and I'm not saying I'm ace) by finally learning to just be yourself and stop trying to be someone you're not, to match what other people think you should say, or do. Hell, I even used to (unconsciously, I think) match my music tastes with whoever I was dating, to a certain extent, even though I wouldn't normally enjoy that kinda thing!

My wedding ideas came from a number of sources - We had a fairly fixed idea of the kind of say we wanted it to be; even though we had a 'medium' size wedding we still wanted it to be a fairly informal and relaxed day.. We just wanted to make the day fun and easy going for ourselves and our guests! So we tried to think of ideas that would help people relax and have fun; silly things like a crossword in the programme, bubbles, crackers with toys and jokes and stuff in. Some of the ideas came from blogs online and one or two from wedding fairs and just looking at pictures of stuff. There were quite a few things that we looked at and thought, we can do that better and cheaper - like our guestbook which consisted of questionnaires and crayola markers! I guess the answer to your question is that they were a mix of inspiration from wedding website sand blogs, and also from my well cultivated imagination!

Wow, I rambled a lot for this one.

Gleeeee! I love HSM but Glee has such a great range of characters and has brilliant storylines.

And.. Sue Sylvester is way better than Sharpay! She is much more evil and therefore more entertaining!

I don't think I really have a specific dream, apart from to have a happy & contented life. I do have lots of little ones though; things like...

      Starting a family with James
      Buying a house
      Become a better cook
Having more time to enjoy crafts
Expanding on my web design hobby - doing it self employed part time

      etc, etc...

Lots of little dreams that add up to a picture of where I would like my life to be in 10 years I guess!

I think they should definitely be tested properly to see if they work in the top four browsers (safari, firefox, chrome & ie), but it's not essential that they look precisely the same in every browser. The functionality is the most important thing; to me it doesn't matter to much if the design degrades slightly in ie, it's just the nature of the web.

I know perfectly well that my personal sites don't validate for css/html compliance. But they work, which is what is most important!

Wow, you sound a little peeved.

I'm not really going to go into it much myself, because there are already hundreds of blog posts and rants about flash. Sure, it's a powerful tool, but it's on it's way out.

Personally, I don't like it, and I welcome the fact that HTML5 & CSS3 offer great alternatives, and are capable of stuff like this without flash:

      http://anthonycalzadilla.com/css3-ATAT/index.html

As for flash, these sites all say it for me, really.

Let alone the issues with SEO, etc. Meh.

(Besides, since I installed ClickToFlash I've had a much nicer browsing experience with hardly any annoying ads! I can live without those.)

Geeky but true: the embracement in the webdev community of HTML 5 & CSS 3 - you can do some great stuff with these things, and some people out there are coming up with some beautiful stuff! Also, the general decrease in flash usage, yay for less browser crashing!

Because it makes people smile. Plus, it gives us a place to post our dog photos & stories without spamming the people who don't care.

Nope, I have headaches every single day, some worse than others, but still every single day. I haven't had a pain free day since I was a teenager.

It's just that when I am at home I can retreat to bed without having to force myself to do anything. I had a bad headache at a house party recently, so I drugged up and sat out for a bit until the painkillers kicked in. It f*cks with my social life all the goddamn time, just this weekend we had the opportunity to meet with friends but I opted to spend the time curled up on the sofa instead, because I was having a bad day.

I had a headache on my bloody wedding day, on every single day of my honeymoon, and on every Saturday and every Sunday. I have been diagnosed with a serious chronic pain condition, it's not just me being a drama queen. I don't really care if the people I work with believe me or not, because this isn't just something that happens at work, it affects my whole life and I have to deal with that every day.

So no, you're wrong. It's just easier to deal with at the weekends because I can hide from the world until it dies down to my day to day pain levels. I don't get that option at work.
