At what age did you stop letting your parents control you? What did you say to them? [4]
I've always had a pretty level head, I know where I stand morally, and I could really careless about most other people's input unless it's specifically asked for. I used to be quite the diva, but that died out in about middle school. I had a weird family life, and I was never really my parents top priority. As soon as I figured out what worked to keep myself under the radar, I was pretty good. My dad still tries to force me to do certain things, but it hasn't been as much of an issue since I started college. Things like curfew... I think my curfew is fair, so I don't challenge it. I also understand that I am legally an adult now, but my dad still allows me to live here, so I keep that in mind when he makes rules. I live here with no charges, I have insurance, I have my gas paid for, and my dad is pretty generous.
