Hm, only concealer helps in covering acne marks. Loose powder is just a light coverage to ensure even skintone only... Hope this helps!

Loose powder isn't as lasting as foundation. The coverage for me is pretty good because my face brightens up instantly after putting on loose powder. And whenever I remove my makeup after a long day outside, I could still see "powder" on my cotton wool. It din't 'fade away' completely. So I guess the coverage is pretty good?

My suggestion would be you applying a tinted sunblock as base before putting loose powder to give a better coverage and healthier glow!
