-
always. i always feel awkard.
the only way to get over feeling awkward is to start trying to socialize or do something, once you get over the initial fear it will be a-okay. -
uh...maybe 3x a year. LOL
-
I wore wigs! I had a collection of about 10 wigs of all "natural" colors and styles!
There were brown wigs, black wigs, curly wigs, short wigs, blonde wigs....
they were all synthetic wigs from ebay which I used talc/baby powder to de-shine.
Before I left that job, people asked me how I managed to magically change my hair every week...and then I told them "uh...they were all wigs".
Some of my old coworkers knew, mostly because they saw me on campus with out my wigs...then they'd ask me why I wore one at all :P
Wigs can get itchy though but if you can power through it, it really works in the end. I never got 1 complaint about my hair, and I never had to feel like I was not able to be myself because once 5PM rolled by it was BYE BYE wig! -
right now? Game of Thrones (4/1/12!!), Pan Am, The Borgias

i'm mostly at home... with my cats <3 If not, find me at Das Bunker stomping to industrial.

the one thing i wish people WOULD have told me when I was on the threshold of adulthood is:
1. Going to college/university is good for you, but you should use this time to not only learn but NETWORK YOUR ASS OFF.
2. NETWORKING & Learning to socialize is the best way of getting where and what you want. TRUTH. Realistically, people who get promoted or get hired: ASK FOR IT and they TAKE IT. they don't work hard and "expect" people to appreciate it.
3. That "getting a good job" is not the same as finding happiness. Some people are happy having "a good job" but it is not always the same thing.
4. DOING WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY: doesnt always equate to a great huge amount of money with out lots and LOTS of networking, pushing yourself and getting your name out there, AND lots of and LOTS of hard work!
i think if someone had told me this when i was 17, i would have YES still gone to college but with a totally different mind set and goals. i spent 10yrs working a "good" corporate job but it left me really burnt out and unfulfilled.
now? now i work technically for myself and for friends on my own time. it's hrd to manage but you have to stay hungry and get over yourself when feeling dumb/stupid/arrogant ... you really have to love what you do and YOURSELF enough to promote yourself to make it.
also, where i am at right now, i couldn't have done it with out friends and acquaintances. consistently meeting people and keeping myself open to trying new projects has led me to where i am. -
Girl with the Dragon Tattoo...loved it!
-
Worst case scenario? I get my period. -.-
-
I'm not exceptionally fit at all. I work out for 1-1.5hrs every weekday to try to stay in shape.
-
I could never settle with just 1 hair color T__T that's too hard.
If i was forced to...forever and ever, I'd go with red. Thats more natural to me than black hair. -
There are very specific people in this world that I trust, and are definitely friends in that group of people. <3
-
Mocha Almond Fudge. hands down.
