Hot summer day: Coca Cola!
Cold winter night: Hot chocolate :3 And cold Coke again when I feel like freezing XD
(of course, where I live has no winter so that's an answer that's half-hypothetical and half based on the one week I was in Japan during winter, LOL) -
Being able to help out at a local doll event when I was not yet a BJD fan opened my eyes to the endless possibilities that a doll could be - a cool boy, cute girl, etc. The ideas of dress-up and possible tangible shaping of character ideals really appealed to me.
As I got more and more into the hobby and into photography, I also appreciate them being my loyal uncomplaining models who put up with my noobness (or forced into putting up with it, hahaha). I could practise photography comfortably without stressing over whether I would be wasting someone else's time if the photos didn't turn out good, etc.
The last (and most frivolous) reason is that I think they are really pretty and I like pretty things. :D
