      Why does bus 36 have to speed on Fall River Rd. in Ypsilanti Township when they do not have any stops on the street, they use the street for a pass thru because Wendell has speed bumps.Their average speed is 35 in a 25.

      Is there any legal recourse that can be taken if a student gets injured in the Construction Technology class considering the instructor has zero college education?

      What is the cutoff for age for students for attending kindergarten? Do they have to be 5 years old by the end of 2011?

      Students must be 5 by Dec. 1 of that year to enroll in kindergarten.

      Who decides if the school district gets a snow day because my 7 year old was waiting for the bus in -15 degree weather! What a joke that is! Please respond and tell me why we didn't have a snow day.

      MESSAGE FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT
      Dear Parents:
      Superintendents in the ten Washtenaw County public school districts use a uniform guideline to determine school closings due to frigid weather. The group arrived at a consensus to close school when the wind chill factor reaches minus 20 degrees. Ypsilanti Public Schools will continue to use the same methods to notify our students and staff when school is closed which includes a phone call home and broadcasts on local and major radio and television stations. I'd like to remind parents to please dress children properly for weather conditions.
