Not sure, I'm in limbo at the moment ^^. I'm planning on returning to business, so wherever the job market is hot I will be heading there.

Heya I'm not sure if I received this question before, sorry for the late response. The discrimination here is low against me compared to a white, brown or black person. I don't stand out when I walk around, and they are more curious on why I look Korean but speak no Korean. I usually tell them "I speak very little Korean" and say that I'm Chinese, from Canada. They usually understand. Afterwards, if they are really interested, they want to learn English from me haha.

Heya, of course I face some discrimination, but it's rare. However, not as bad as a visual minority (such as a white, brown or black person). It's because I blend into the crowd, but also I try my best to be extra nice to Koreans and they tend to reciprocate.

Heya, you can teach in Korea for as long as you want. Usually contracts last 1 year (though 6 month contracts exist seldom). I'm here until end of February. Hope that helps!

Not true at all. If you apply for public or private schools, you'll easily be accepted. I know a lot of kyopo's here in Korea and they love it here. I mean I would too if I was Korean^^. I'm thinking about going to Hong Kong next year.

There's a long story to that, but the shortest one is this: I wanted an authentic foreigner experience. I wanted to see sights and sounds that I wasn't familiar with and be surrounded by a language I wasn't accustomed to. If I went to China, I think I would've been able to get by pretty easily. Also, another reason is pay. In Korea, it is easier to make money and save it (if you don't drink hardcore), while in Japan I heard you'll have a great experience, but no extra dough in your bank account when you get home. I am still in student debt (grr) but I'm sure it would've been worse if I went to Japan.
