Six years ago, people thought Furry cons wouldn't ever get larger than 2,500 attendees. Today we're close to double that. Dragoncon had an attendance of more than 46,000 last year. There is no reason why a Furry convention couldn't be that big. Conventions run "smoothly" as long as they have the support staff and infrastructure to handle increasing attendance.
