how he keeps making snide comments when we are watching movies. it's actually funny but i my brain absolutely fucks up because usually he makes snide comments during serious parts of the movie. so i dunno whether i want to be in a funny or serious mode. :3

1. it depends. some people score the first time they try. the better question would be how much preparation does it take to get a good SAT score.
2. not answering this ivy-centric question so sien why you all want to go ivies only zzzz. you look at the admission rates and you ask yourself lah.
3. talk to people who are there, who are in other schools. get a sense of who they are, what they've done (although such things are difficult to pry) so maybe you can stalk. i don't know. talk to ppl who are going to apply and think if you stand a chance. and even then, you may not completely know the person. so.. this really is such a meh question zzzz. -
Be yourself, get people to proofread it, get many kinds of people to go through it - people who know u well, people who DON'T know you well, people older than you, people who've read lots of essays before, people who write well (to polish for flair).
Well, there really isn't a hard and fast rule to when you should get started (with regards to before or after picking colleges). I assume we are talking about the general personal statements right? If we're talking about that then any time you feel like it. Earlier the better, that's what they say. But again, no hard and fast rule. School specific unis then obviously the statements for those schools come _after_ u select them la. -
so i can answer the question accordingly? because different perspectives give people different reasons for posing a question and sometimes it's important to note these varying perspectives to answer something.
