Thank you so much for answering my question! You give amazing advice! I'll use it to try to work things out with my mother. If I can't...oh well. I guess it's my life, not hers. Thanks again! <3

Anytime baby! Stay strong, chin up, and do you.

    2. Ava Adore

      I absolutely adore you.

Awww thanks! Are you the same Helen of desTroy as on tumblr? If so, I've been creeping your page, just wanted to say I dig it.

You are a BAMF, & stunning. I am grateful every day that I have access to your & Ava's blogs. Y'all are amazing<3

You know, I have a friend who got BAMF tattooed on the inside of her bottom lip.

      ...

I don't plan to do that. But thanks, the compliments are appreciated. Maybe you should get BAMF inked somewhere on you, eh? eh?

Sorry, I seem to be delirious.

    5. Ava Adore

      Happy Belated Birthday, darlin!!!

Can I say you're an inspiration? I'm a feminist and bisexual but I've been struggling keeping these identities and my femininity. Seeing you as a strong woman, feminist and a lesbian without having to compromise on femininity has given me hope. Thank you

Femininity is different things to different people. I put it on like clothing in the morning. For others, it's an identity.

I myself don't identify as 'feminine' nor 'masculine' because I think this stratification of the binaries is harmful: people aren't that easy to put into one box or the other. I've got a body that's mostly feminine with a mind that's mostly masculine. I'm not as feminine anywhere else as I am in the club—and I'm alright with that. I just heighten these parts of me.

And you should also ask yourself what 'feminine' and 'masculine' mean, and who created those definitions for you. A lot of genderqueer and trans* politics fight against this idea. Why is nailpolish, for example, 'feminine'? And there were times that pink was a "boy colour" and a time when only men were considered chefs, and yet now "a woman's place is in the kitchen." These definitions change.

You can make them your own.

If I can give you any food for thought, to ease the tension you feel when trying to reconcile your multiplicities, is to know that one does not disregard another. Allowing yourself to be feminine and a lesbian is a very hard thing in some areas, that I know; but it's also hard to be yourself anywhere. I'm glad that I can help ease a bit of that tension for you, though, and thank you for the lovely compliments. <3

      Have any pets?

I have a cat who thinks she's a dog. Or a human. Depends on the day. But she's amazing.

NAKED NINJA AVA! You are so adorable! I love reading your blog <3

Hahahaha, all in a day's work at the "naked circus." You pick up cool slang like that, too. Hahahaha <3 Thank youuu.

    9. Ava Adore

      What's your stripper persona like?

She's a lot like me, only more naked.

I was just admiring your locker! You have a fabulous collection :) I was just wondering, how many outfits do strippers usually have on average? And how long has it taken you to create such a large wardrobe?

That varies a lot! Some clubs mandate that a girl change at least 1-2 times per shift, so you could argue that you need at least 3 outfits, and when I read others' "starter advice," 3 outfits is generally what I read.

That aside, my bag barely fits in my locker, and I know a lot of girls I work with that fill their entire locker, or have bags that no longer fit in the locker and have to be slid under the makeup tables.

If I had to give an average, I think you'd probably come to 8 outfits. Some girls don't want to spend money they made to put more toward the job, which is understandable... but it can be boring wearing the same thing every night.

I've been collecting a wardrobe since I started in February last year; Lace Domme and Closer are probably the only outfits I still have from the very beginning that I still use. So about a year :) Thanks for the compliment!

How much money is considered a "bad night" and how much money is considered a "good night" (you can give a range like $______ and over is a good night)

As I've said a bunch of times, I actually like to usually don't give numbers out, because regions have different highs and lows, and my standards may be wildly different from the next girls'. So don't set the bar by me.

That being said, I generally judge a "bad night" as one in which I make less than a minimum-wage type job per hour. If I average out what I made and I made less than minimum wage being naked, I'm pretty pissed. I'm pissed any night below $100, really.

How much are customers allowed to touch you during a lap dance?

The general rule is no touching. Hands-at-side business, at my club.

BUT I don't know if you've ever tried to be sexy and arousing and the guy just sits there with his hands at his side (even if he's supposed to)—let me tell you, it's kinda weird.

So personally, I allow the touching of hips, sides, stomach, ass cheeks, legs—non-genital areas (no tits, no vajayjay, no... wandering; that shit'll get you warned and then kicked).

I'm not often touched on my shoulders or neck or head, now that I think about it; I think it's because I start being a naked ninja anytime the hands start going toward my breasts.

I am glad walked away with your body, your breath, & your will. You are beautiful. :)

      Awwwww!! :) Smiley.

Your tumblr is one of very few that I actually visit, instead of just catching in my feed. While a lot of things vary, it's nice to find an intelligent stripper I can relate to, since I don't post about it much on my own blog (counttheposies) :) Thanks!

Thanks so much, Grace! I love following your blog and I'm glad to have a connection with you. I hope that you continue to enjoy your visits with me. :)

    15. Ava Adore

You are phenomenal. I don't know you but Lilah's description of what you probably taste like sounds spot on. Thank you for inspiring me, for fighting with your clothes off.

      ...Thank you! Solidarity <3
