Ask me anything

It's something I'm trying to phase out. People can ask me any question at any time on YouTube videos or Facebook/Twitter, so there's no need for Formspring. I was originally using it so people could ask questions anonymously, but I've ceased to really see the value in that. People generally don't ask inappropriate questions anyway, and if they do I usually don't answer them.

I do YouTube videos for a living, Mallory is an elementary art teacher.

Her smile. I think I've elaborated more in a past question, but I'm truly in love with the girl's smile. It can turn any bad day around pretty immediately.

Yep, it's something that I'm phasing out.

I'd ask Loid but I don't have cell phone reception out here in mine block land :(

I usually don't elaborate too much on this because 'college is awesome' generally suffices. In all seriousness though, don't sweat it. My best advice is to be very outgoing in your first semester, and try to make friends with lots of people. The true friends will reveal themselves soon enough, and they'll be the best friends you've ever had in your entire life. As for the school part of it, I found it easier than high school usually (partly because you can make your own schedule) and many people tend to agree with me. Don't worry, you are in for an awesome ride! :D

I wouldn't call myself 'famous' by any means (though I guess fame is relative). I got to where I am today by releasing quality content regularly, and respecting and appreciating my audience. I make videos that people want to watch, new ones are available all the time, and I make a very concentrated effort to reach out to fans, letting them know I care by interacting with them and answering any questions they may have. Basically find something you like to make that others like to watch, and stay with it. And along the way make sure you remember that it was the fans who carried you there.

That's an awesome thing to be cursed for! :D

Not for at least 5 years, and even then we might wait until we've paid off our college debt. We also may never have kids, who knows!

In the past, yes. Ben and I had a conversation about doing Mario RPG before, or even Chrono Trigger. However, all of us have gotten a lot busier since FaB, and it's highly unlikely it would ever happen.

I sort of used to do that with my /earthbound videos. You can check them out on http://Vimeo.com/earthbound

I'm actually really interested in doing this! Not sure if or when I'll get around to it, but I've considered it before.

It's something we might consider in 5 years or so, but right now we have no plans.

Actually, there's a convenient box on the StephenPlays channel that will tell you what's coming up! I also have a link to the schedule in that box which will tell you what comes out each and every day.

It will be available for download when episode 100 is released.

I have never heard of it, but I'll look into it.

I am xfisjmg1 on XBL and stephengeorg on PSN.

Earthbound takes the top spot, but I don't think I have definitive #2-#10 spots. Other series I enjoy include Half-Life 2, the Donkey Kong Country series (particularly 1&2), the Worms series (Armageddon and World Party), TimeSplitters 2 & Future Perfect, Pokemon (original 150), Mario 64 and Super Mario World, Left 4 Dead 2, the Portal series, the Sims, the Elder Scrolls (Skyrim, really), Metal Gear Solid series, Katamari, Grand Theft Auto series (huge fan of 4), Mirror's Edge, Gauntlet (Dark Legacy is arguably the best), Second Sight, Kirby Super Star, and Crazy Taxi. To name a few.

I met Chuggaaconroy several years ago on Starmen.net. We stayed in contact over the years and were finally able to meet last October.

People have questions. I have questions too, but on this site I give answers instead.
