I've been a vegetarian since 1995 (although I do eat fish and eggs) and have dabbled with veganism but due to pregnancy and now breastfeeding am back to being a vegetarian. I absolutely loathe how human beings breed and treat animals in the larger corporate food industry. Would like to be a proper vegan, but for now sticking to vegetarianism.
