It's true that there are more engineers up North, but the best part about Willard is, we have engineers, English majors, journalism majors, all sorts of people. Here you'd have a group of engineers to hang out with AND a wealth of other friends, whereas up North you may feel a bit more stuffy surrounded by all engineer-types.

There are definitely engineers in Willard. I wouldn't say they're the majority, but they're not the minority either. You'll definitely have people to work with on your EDC projects.

There's lots of international students here, and they're all wonderful people. And YES, YES, A THOUSAND TIMES YES there are Whovians! And Browncoats and Trekkies (although these latter two are mostly me...). BUT WE ALWAYS NEED MORE HIT ME UP AND WE CAN WATCH DOCTOR WHO TOGETHER <3333

The best way to increase your chances of living here is to write an essay wherein you describe EXACTLY HOW AWESOME you would be in Willard. Otherwise, everyone has the same chances.

Generally, classes will tell you which style guide to use. Most use the MLA style guides, some use the APA (psychology classes). But you can find all this online, so there's no reason to buy a book!
