Roommates are chosen based on two primary things: your housing questionnaire and your Scribner Seminar. Based on your questionnaire answers (Are you messy or tidy? Stay up late or go to bed early?) we will pair you with someone who is compatible. Your Scribner Seminar mates will also be housed in the same residence hall, but not the same room. We do this to create a fully integrated First-Year Experience.

On Feb. 21, the following letter was issued from Skidmore College President Phil Glotzbach: http://www.skidmore.edu/news/2013/0221-soccer-hazing.php.

The College Administration took this issue very seriously. After a thorough investigation, involving the Saratoga Springs Police Department and the District Attorney, it was decided that the upcoming men's spring soccer season is to be canceled. This decision reflects Skidmore's commitment to a zero tolerance policy.

The limit for requests is four decals per person, and yes, they are free. If you need more than that you can purchase them at the Skidmore Shop (the campus bookstore).

Our varsity intercollegiate team is limited to women only. There is a polo team club sport through the SGA (Student Government Association).

Our Riding Program, however, allows for students at all levels of experience to participate in lessons for credit. We have approximately 100 students a semester (both male and female) who participate in the program. Over the years, several of these students have also participated on the polo team.

Our Riding Program allows for students at all levels of experience to participate in lessons for credit. We have approximately 100 students a semester (both male and female) who participate in the program.

We also had a men's polo team chartered by the Student Government Association a few years ago. It is no longer operating, but a student were to get enough interest, he/she could go through the process of creating the new club.

Hello!

ED applicants (round 1 and 2) can be admitted, rejected or deferred. We typically do not (with very rare exceptions) waitlist an ED applicant. If an ED2 is deferred to the regular pool, they become a regular decision applicant and are reviewed with all the other regulars. They will get their decisions when we mail all regular decision letters on or about March 25. Some ED defers are eventually admitted, but the percentage is always very low.
