Do you have any techniques for getting clients to slam on the brakes when they are obviously driving a big project off a cliff through lack of research and testing for concepts and design ideas?
My best technique is simple: just keep asking "Why?" For every directive the give you, ask why. When they realize they don't have an answer, they'll pause and then you have the opportunity to ask them to give you the time to find out. If they want to go full steam ahead without knowing why, it's time to find another gig.
