I love this song it makes me think of holding your lovers hand and running through fields of wild flowers...with the sun beaming down on our smiling faces...music like this just makes me happy and want to dance. Thank you for reminding me of it!

Okay so of all sweets cookies are definitely my weakness. I could have cookies for breakfast, lunch an dinner. They are definitely my enemy...but best friend all at once.
My favorite cookie is Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Oatmeal...so good! -

When my sister and I were talking about what exactly we wanted to created, we knew that we wanted to create a name that honored her memory indirectly.
I am in the process of working on the logo and our symbol is definitely a bluebird, the reason being, my mother always said, if you see a bluebird it means that something good is on it's way.
I saw a lot of bluebirds during this time, and knew that she was with us through this whole thing.
After talking with my friend Courtney, having a brainstorming meeting, we came up with the name, whimsy blue, because blue was her favorite color and she spread a little whimsy to everyone's life.
This is what we hope to do with the things we sell, bring a little whimsy and fun into their life. -
This is a question that I really could not say yay or nay for. The thing is that there is a family who just lost a loved one and chances are in a brutal way...does it make it right to have them determine the punishment...should we revert back to ancient times...an eye for an eye....a hand for a hand....and the thing is that there are a lot of people convicted of crimes...that are innocent...
That is so hard though because trying to imagine myself in that families shoes would be impossible, because I have never been there. -
First of all thank you so much for reading my blog!!! It motivates me to be more creative so that I can share that creativity with other people.
Today I gotta work on making some pillows. I am trying to think of them as a canvas each one a little different. Sometimes pillows, can be...well for lack of a better word square...
trying to figure how to reinvent them so that they are more exciting and fun!
I have 8 to finish and multiple journals to make. The best part of being creative is that you never get bored, the hard part is that sometimes you get overwhelmed. -
I kept seeing old books and wanted to think of creative new uses for them. At that time I was checking out a lot of books from the library on different diy topics and bookbinding was one of them.
I made my sister two for christmas and just decided that I wanted to give these books that normally just sit on shelves and create something new with them. Give them new life essentially.

I think the thing that I love most about Portland, is the sense of artistry here. You are surrounded by nature, by beauty and yes sometimes it is grey and dark, but all of that breathes so much inspiration.
It gives you the ability to create without being stressed out by the chaos occurring right outside your door.
Especially Selllwood it feel like my own little small town. I can walk to the library am 13 blocks from the river, it is truly stunning to be in a place so beautiful. And not to many people nowadays have the ability to say they were born and raised here. -
I think that job of US President is one that I would never have the experience or patience for. It takes a a lot of passion and fervor to lead 500 million people and represent them and I would not want that to be my job.

I would have to definitely say it was great hanging with my uncle craig and aunt marty...but my Cousins Casey and Robert probably the most fun I had with three people in awhile!!
