I know the comics had a large cast of villains but the comics aren't trying to cram the whole story, including enough of a background on the characters so that non-comics readers know what is going on into a two and a half hour film.

Also, the comics generally assume that you already know who the principle cast members are, from their origin stories or other issues and so have more time to devote to the main story.

I actually have quite a few.

I have a scar on the right side of my abdomen from having my appendix out when I was fourteen.

I have a small scar on my left hand below the knuckle of my index finger from a burn I got when I was three.

Also on my left hand I have another burn scar that runs from the base of my thumb to my wrist and then swings around up to just beside the first burn scar near my index knuckle.

After my recent trip to Scotland, I'm going to have to pick Gaelic. Just because it's apparently such a poetic language, despite only having 18 letters.

      That's a tough question.
I guess the biggest part of it really comes down to "How much do you really like Pokemon?"

The game is certainly fun and a definite time sink (so value for money) but at the same time, it's Pokemon. The series, rather ironically, hasn't really evolved since Red and Blue first came out on the Gameboy.

If you know, for certain, that you'll enjoy the game (as in, you've played it before or you've played any of the previous games in the series and liked those a lot), then by all means totally buy it. Also, it may be cheaper than picking up Black or White (though unlikely, Pokemon is one of those games that holds it's price depressingly well for a franchise).

If on the other hand you're totally new to the Pokemon games, a years' worth of savings is a lot of money to potentially blow on something totally untested.

My advice, if you decide to do it - and the pros do outweigh the cons - check the shop's return policy. Have a look at buying it from EB Games (Australia) - they're a little douchey but if you can find it cheaper somewhere else, they'll match the price. AND you have 7 days (on new games) to return it no questions asked.

Very rarely. And usually it's only fragments of the dream I was having prior to waking up if I remember anything at all.

Probably Spring. It's warm enough to be comfortable without being body-meltingly hot.

      Cookery.
With no false modesty, it is the one thing in my life in which the pride I possess in doing it matches my level of accomplishment.

I am the best cook I know (though one of my friends is a much better baker than I am) and I haven't had a single person complain about a meal that I myself wasn't satisfied with.

I tore all the ligaments in the lower half of my left leg (from the knee to the ankle) while playing tiggy at primary school.

I don't actually know the answer to this ... but I suspect the local waffle shop would be suitably awesome to judge from the smells that are always coming out of there.

If you're talking about the thing I played with the most, it'd probably be my giant tubs of LEGO bricks.

If you're talking about the thing with the most sentimental value, probably Cowboy Ted (a teddy bear dressed as a cowboy) that my maternal grandfather gave me shortly before he died.

Vacuuming, mostly because my allergies just go haywire with all the dust that's disturbed from moving furniture and emptying the bag.

I just downloaded Fruit Ninja and Angry Birds from the Knowhow App Center so, although my productivity is now through the floor, I've been so hyped about these two games for months that I don't mind ... yet.

You have one of two choices when it comes to your education - either pay attention in school and graduate your VCE on more than sheer good attendance OR drop out in year 10 and get a trade apprenticeship and do something useful with those two years of your life.

I don't really know - I'm firmly of the belief that people should avoid meeting their idols if they can help it, since the person rarely lives up to the hype.

Having said that, I wouldn't mind meeting Jesus, just to satisfy my own curiosity about where man ends and myth begins.

Leaving aside the Angry Atheist posing and assuming that that He does exist for this discussion, I'd ask him if denominational belief actually matters or whether it's just important not to be a fucking douchebag?

    20. Shaun

No. For someone who is considered the "Leader of the Free World", the President (or any chief politician for that matter) has to jump through far too many hoops to actually get anything worthwhile done to make the illusion of ultimate governing power tempting in any way.
