I've been reading "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance" lately and even though I haven't finished it yet because of my hectic schedule this last quarter, at the least I can say that it's definitely a refreshing pick from my usual non-fiction reading.

Every now and then. Mostly when something comes to mind and I become curious, need an opinion, help, or just want to pick someone's brains :)

I think it's acceptable as long as (a) the two people don't have superficial emotions one another [e.g. lust] -- this just leads to problems in the long run and (b) both people are physically and emotionally mature. I.e. they're not asking themselves or each other, "Am I/we ready?" As long as they're asking, the simple answer to this question will always be no.
Going back to (a), they should also be dating for at least a year. Sounds like it's out of some dating book but really, adolescents should get to know their partners before having sex not only to protect themselves from possible STI's, but also to prevent them from regretting losing their virginity to someone they wish they hadn't done it with. Also, they should know how to properly use a condom otherwise they might ended up that they'll have to live with. -
I think it's completely fine unless one or both have a boyfriend or girlfriend. Then it becomes complicated. Although they may tell themselves, "Oh nothing's going to happen we're just friends", it's never really certain and both are better off not putting themselves in a position of temptation and opportunity.

At the moment, I would prefer an iPhone over and Android or BlackBerry phone because (a) it's more mature as a platform [vs. Android] (b) has more to offer to me than BlackBerry phones

this is a difficult question to answer because i'd like to improve more than one aspect of my life. at the moment, i'm trying to go to bed before 1, not procrastinate, exercise everyday, read a book a week, practice sitting in silence, and write regularly.

to be honest, i am in no place to make stock purchase recommendations. for the most part it depends on your goal, are you looking for continuous income, or a long-term investment. all i can recommend is to take the investment fundamentals class at de anza -- it is very informative. as for ethnic food, that's a tough one. let's just say that if you gave me any japanese/korean/chinese/or filipino food, i would be very happy :) either kim nguyen, ana pischl, or aileen kim is asking these questions :P
