Hm. This is interesting, and there really is no way I can answer this without offending one male or another. Oh well, here we go.
1) Manipulation - While I don't possess this specific skill, I would definitely say that females in general exceed at the subtle art that is manipulation.
2) Subtlety - Just saying, though I'm not great at this either.
3) Having breasts - See, now I just feel bad about myself.
Alright. I've run out. Sorry. I'm using Google now.
4) Women consistently outscore men on written and oral tests because they use both hemispheres of the brain--left and right--to process verbal, visual, and emotional stimuli.
5) Choosing inclusion over exclusivity is an inherent female strength.
6) Women are especially intuitive, empathetic, and compassionate.
Alright. Good enough, yes? Women are awesome, but men are too. -
It's a shindig. An event. But it's the six-syllable form of the word, which makes it more awesome. I love six-syllable words.

Having 20/20 vision is very convenient, I imagine, though I haven't had it since I was six years old.
-
I didn't, but I imagine it was ridiculous.

I think Princess Aurora, from Sleeping Beauty, because she gets to grow up in a cozy cottage, meets the love of her life on her sixteenth birthday, and then after a not-altogether unpleasant nap gets to spend the rest of her life in a palace with Prince Phillip, who happens to be my favorite Disney prince.
-
Well, it's not a story, but it's a funny fact.
One time the half blood got drunk and said "shindigamerbobber." If you know what that means, you should tell me. -
You know, I never really noticed before, but SHE IS, isn't she?!
Ways in which my roommate is a weirdo:
1) She's short. Okay, that's not weird, but it randomly makes me giggle.
2) She knows too much about Harry Potter. Oh wait, so do I.
3) She thinks bad grammar and bad manners are the same thing. Though that just makes her intellectual.
4) She does weird things like answer the phone with "Buddy the Elf, what's your favorite color?" But then again I do that too, though only when she's calling.
So she IS a weirdo... but so am I. Whoops. -
Absolutely, though honestly I kind of like wearing glasses, and I have the kind of contacts that I keep in 24/7 and can just switch out every two weeks, so not having 20/20 vision really isn't very convenient.
Though, I'm sure I'll be singing a different tune when I graduate from college and have to actually start paying for my eye care. -
In canon, nothing. Though I still like the idea of Harry and Hermione better, and here is why:
Harry is the hero. Hermione is the heroine. Ron is the sidekick. Why should the heroine end up with the sidekick?
Also, I identify with Hermione and I like Harry better. : ) -
Mute, because I could still write.
Also, because my iChat occasionally fails or because sometimes I like to talk to friends after my roommate goes to sleep, I've had a few experiences this semester of video chatting with my friend Josh, but not actually being able to make noise. It was frustrating occasionally, yes, but mostly amusing and it made me listen more and I was able to communicate a lot with facial expressions and gestures. Plus, there's always typing or writing or sign language if I ever REALLY needed to say something. -
Something AMAZING. And it's being shipped to Emily's house because I was afraid I wouldn't get it in time. If all goes as planned there will be a card as well.

Ummmm.... is it sad that I can't think of many things that are "cultured"? Like, I just don't really spend time worrying about the "finer" things of life.
*Googles "cultured"*
Alright, Wikipedia basically says that "cultured" includes: music, visual arts, and traditional forms of performing arts.
Right. I don't think any of those are boring. Those are all things I really love, actually. The things I think of as overwhelmingly boring are actually the modern, experimental versions of all of those (though admittedly not all). I guess if I had to pick one, I'd say that ballet really only entertains me to a point, but I don't find it all that boring. -
That's tough, as I've never been in love or really witnessed the change in anyone I'm close to from single individual to wife and parent. I would probably say my husband, as he will be my partner, and then my children would be an incredibly close second, as they will be a result of that partnership and commitment. But who knows. I'm young and naive.
Also, I won't ever need to discipline my husband, except maybe for fun. ; ) -
I DID tell her. And it was out loud.
But now I'll say I MISS YOU!!!!
And I won't say it out loud since that would be stupid, as I am alone in my bedroom. -
I was very very tired. Very.
-
No, but only because I'll spend the entirety of next semester with her. In an ideal world, however, I could teleport to Emily every time I had something to say.
-
Well, if the past twenty four hours have been any indicator, at least several times a day. This does not necessarily include additional Facebook stalking.
