I have cloth diaper remorse. I bought some prefolds and PUL covers, but I am thinking I made the wrong choice and should have gone with AIOs or pocket diapers. How do you chooooose?! And how do I get over investing in the "wrong" system?
You really can't go wrong with Prefolds and covers/wraps. I always recommend them as the backbone to any cloth diaper system. I got started with prefolds so maybe there is some nostalgia involved but they really are great.
If you are regretting your choice, however, there are a few places online you can sell them -- even used! Try the www.diaperswappers.com forums. You can usually recoup most of your cost if they've already been used and then you can put that money towards a new system.
The choices can be overwhelming, so I recommend keeping your prefolds and covers for a while and using them. Then, purchase maybe one AIO for one place, a pocket diaper from another place... give them a try, see if you like them. When you land on something you really love, get more. Sell off the things that didn't work for you.
I hope that helps!
