Disgustingly enough, either Best of the Best or Night at the Roxbury. Both absolutely ridiculous films, for different reasons, but I've turned off films I've never seen before and been interested in to flip over to one of these when they've been on. Truth be told, I don't even really like either movie but I've seen both of them at least 50 times each.
Alternatively, I can watch Mallrats at the drop of a hat but I still really like that movie. Aside from Chasing Amy it's at the top of the Kevin Smith list for me. -
July 14th, 1995. Megadeth at the Molson Amphitheatre in Toronto. The Amphitheatre is just a terrible, terrible outdoor venue. Flotsam and Jetsam didn't make it across the border, Fear Factory went on before we even got there, it was about 33 degrees celsius that day, and we were just in time to have to sit through most of Korn's set. Megadeth we awesome but the rest of the day was just painful all the way around.

I've never really considered an unlimited budget. I know I've written with the thought of, "what if budget wasn't an issue," which could be considered the same thing. Honestly I don't know but I do know horror would be involved somehow. It doesn't seem to matter what I do there's always horror in there whether overt or simply a subtext or launching point for something else.
The one time I did write and deliberately chose to write something that could be a budget issue I did a superhero-y kind of thing... with a very heavy horror undercurrent. -
Depends on whether I've been drinking or not.
