My parents still live in Russia and I do try to see them a few times a year. Really miss them sometimes... They are super supportive about everything I do, which probably qualifies as the greatest love (even over distance).

Дружба с колготками для меня как-то совсем не сложилась. Особенно с устрашающими телесными или текстурными. Ну никак не получается. Приходится так по привычке с голыми ногам. Но когда уж совсем невыносимо, можно плотные черные (без всякого блеска) в виде исключения.

I was born in Nizhny Novgorod (that's where Natalia Vodianova is from, just for a reference). This is where I spent most of my childhood and the early teens. Then moved to Europe at the age of 16 and so far have been living in England, the Netherlands and now Belgium. Not really sure anymore where I belong, but it's always nice to come back to Russia for random visits.

Брюссель как постоянное место жительства сложился случайно и даже не совсем желанно. Осталась по любви, обосновалась, занимаюсь любимым делом и теперь даже начинает нравиться))

Yeah, Krassi is my man, who takes pretty much all the pictures for the blog. I do mention him sporadically in my posts, but it really is his preference to stay incognito (behind the lens only). I'll try to find a photo to post up next, since you are not the first person asking about him. Time to get out of the shadows.

1. I am part blogger part fashion designer. trying to create my own brand http://www.elena-vasilieva.com/en/index.php 2. most of the photos on the blog are shot with canon 5d mark ii (couldn't imagine my life without it) and i use any kind of other random cameras along the way, including my iPhone and an old tiny digital canon. these are good for texture variety. 3. anything designer i own i hunt down on sales, most often marked down to 70%. I tend to buy trendless so that i can keep on rewearing them season after season.
