      This is a great question!

God has a destiny for every single person on this earth who loves him and opens up their heart to His Spirit (Jeremiah 29:11, Romans 8:28) The reason that anything is a sin is that it hinders our relationship with Jesus; that amazing relationship with Him (the reason for this is clear in John 15, an it's such an awesome truth!). Since the nature of God is making all things purposeful and just, sin can be defined as any action straying away from what God intended for someone's destiny, which can be seen through the example He's given us in His word. The consequences of sin may vary, and some may not seem
as harmful as others, but the reality is that anything that cuts us off from our calling in Jesus is the ultimate harm.

The point is, God doesn't hate homosexuals, or anyone else living in sexual immorality, or anyone at all. People do that. But when you get saved, you deny yourself, take up your cross, and follow Him. Not out of guilt or fear, but because when you have discovered the most precious gift in the world, you're willing to sell and lay down everything you have to be able to partake in that one thing. This is hard, but God promises us we are not alone. His Holy Spirit convicts you of what you need to change and helps you change the things that you can't. He has helped me so much and I am just in absolute awe of how He has changed who I am.. What Jesus did for us is the single most important thing in history. His grace saved us from who we are! It's okay to struggle. I struggle with sin, too. I still stumble, I'm not perfect. However, I don't blame God for being born with the genetics I have and struggling with the sins that I struggle with. I have been made free! Im a new creation! I dont live in that sin that I sometimes strumble with, But I strive to live in love for Jesus and people.I don't base my joy and my fulfillment on my love for someone, or on a sin that I commit. I base it on Jesus alone. And I encourage anyone else to do the same. It is the best choice one could ever make. Ultimately, we as Christians cannot judge people who have not come to Jesus, so I just try to love people, no matter what they've done.

Thank you, Gabby. I hope I answered your question. If you have any more questions please email me at vagnerlage@gmail.com or just ask me in person. God bless :)

Homosexuality is a sin, first and foremost. But in the church we treat it as this ridiculous taboo and are quite hypocritical about it. Truth is, we all stumble, and we all fall short of God's glory. But grace allows us to respond to what He's done and become like Him. That's why you could potentially struggle with homosexual thoughts sometimes and still live a godly lifestyle. Just as some people struggle for lust for the opposite sex; this is no different. Lust is lust. I guess the dichotomy here would be that if you lust over the opposite sex, you could always get married. But if you struggle with homosexual lust, it's just something that you have to get over by grace.

Because sex is much more than physical interaction. Sex is meant to be a symbol of your dedication of all you are to loving the other person. And this is a pretty beautiful concept. But more important is allowing Jesus to rid your heart of lust, because purity really starts in the heart.

Why would he have to? Most people still wouldn't believe, believe it or not. Most people today present hard evidence for scientific theory and people still believe what they want. Your faith in God is independent upon whether or not He perform miracles. it's dependent on whether or not you're willing to let him in.

Grace. Just grace. Grace is the groom standing at the altar waiting for the bride with open arms; she's spitting at him and calling him all sorts of names, and everyone around him is saying he shouldn't marry her. But he waits for her anyway. He stands there waiting.

Grace is unfathomable because our hearts are so deeply laden with abject depravity and separated from it, but I believe that it is the very essence of God. To understand Christ is to understand grace, which is a continual process that we call denying ourselves and following Christ.

I thoroughly enjoy John the most just because it's so powerful. Everything is described so emotively and almost like a bad dream, if that makes sense. But I'd say the most objective synoptic is Luke.. And all of them have takes from men from different regions. But I don't know a whole lot about the differences other than that, as I have never really thought about it. What do you think?

Well, see that's the thing. It's not about religion; it's love. I've fallen in love with Jesus. And the rest is history haha :) You can have it too. He's calling us to come and rejoice in his presence.
