I vaguely remember being brought to piano lessons when I was 5 or 6… I don't think it lasted very long, but I distinctly remember getting a composition assignment using only the black keys. I didn't do the assignment but I improvised what I thought was a very cool song and the teacher asked, "did you write that?" and I said, "yep."
If you had access to a time machine, where and when would be the first place you travel to?
I think I would first go to Six Gallery in San Francisco on October 7, 1955 - google it to see what happened then & there ;-)
