Because the access is now limited to members who have introduced themselves and are validated by the admin.

Most boards are now only accessible for members who have introduced themselves. They get to join the "Tin-hatters" group which can open all boards, incl. the fanfiction one. This rule was announced about a week ago and got enforced yesterday.
