Three things: what happens around me, what happens in my life, and songs. Of course, books inspire me, too, but that's a default. Most of the things I write are based on real life experiences, and sometimes, real people. There's nothing more interesting than life itself, don't you think? :)

Hm. A mermaid, huh? First off...I think you need to spend lots and lots and lots of time in water. Then try communing with the fishes and other creatures in the ocean. One day I think you'll wake up with a tail.
Or you can look for that magic shell that Dyesebel carries around to become a mermaid and back to human.
Or look for Ursula and trade your voice to become a mermaid.
OR...my friend Jana has a mermaid ring, she might be able to help you. ;) -
I'm not so sure yet if I'm going to join Script Frenzy. June is my deadline to finish my 2008 novel, so maybe I'll skip it again this year. Let's see.

I think this year's birthday is has been the longest one ever! My birthday celebration started last Saturday, when my friends gave me a small surprise party at Chili's. :) Then we watched Avenue Q and then spent the night drinking. haha.
Today, I stayed up until midnight to welcome my birthday. Went to bed, went to work, and got a barrage of birthday greetings online and through text. I treated my teammates to lunch, got a cake from them, then got coffee with my girl teammates. Worked a bit, then received another cake from my friend Marvs who's in Dubai, and it's my favorite cake from Red Ribbon -- Tiramisu! :) Ate some cake. Then headed to mass with my family, then went to dinner at Cyma. I got free ice cream from Cyma too. :) Theeeeen I visited the gym, saw some of my friends and my nutritionist, went to the grocery, then went home.
I just finished thanking a LOT of people who left messages on Facebook, and now I'm just waiting for the day to end because it's my tradition.
Now I just feel bloated from all the food, but my heart's still full from all the celebrations.:) I can't say if it's the best birthday EVER, but it's definitely on the top of the list. :) -

Now...as for your question (talagang pinag-isipan ko to :P). My birthday wish for this year is to have more courage to grow up and step up. O diba ang lalim. I'm seeing a lot of changes this year, my brother's wedding for one thing, and that means I will have to start doing some things on my own na, because I can't keep on bugging my brother to do stuff for me...like drive me around, for instance. So it's time for me to grow up just a bit more.
Oh, and I could wish for a boyfriend too, buuut it's not really a priority. hahaha kelangan lang talaga ihirit, kumusta naman. :)) -
Hm, a boyfriend? Haha kidding. I...am not so sure. I mean, I'm pretty easy to please and although I have an extremely long wish list with books and stuff, I don't really mind not getting them, you know? Plus I think I already have great friends and family...so what more?
Okay, maybe an all-expense paid trip to Australia with friends. That's one thing.
And...world peace. (Sorry, I just had to say that. :P) -
Hm, why would I "rake" them? :) Haha but if I can take them anywhere...I'd take them to an arcade. There's something really fun about beating each other in all kinds of games...or helping each other blast out zombies and dead people in House of the Dead.
Now who to rake...I mean, take, that's another question. Hm. -
Anywhere as long as it's by the beach! The heat will only be bearable if there is saltwater and sand nearby.
