ich bin immer nervös, wenn die models geschminkt werden sitz ich normalerweise da, futter aus aufregung lauter schokoriegel und wippe mit den füßen. außerdem hab ich vorher immer alpträume von kaputtgehenden kameras und das ich vergessen hab film zu kaufen und mir das erst 5 minuten vorher auffällt. ich suche mir aber prinzipiell immer leute mit denen ich gerne arbeiten mag, damit alles möglichst entspannt ist..

verrry mainstream-y. it is just so funny how she was obviously styled by a stylist even for her first videos that are supposed to look selfmade so she can tell her story and make the people love her. so funny. like the bling bling chain to the top to make her look a little like a poor pretty wannabe hollywood white trash trailer park girl. there is definitely no way she all made that up by herself either which is even lamer because when you listen to her older songs she comes off pretty boring and was unsuccessful and then some producer must have seen the potential in her and came up with the whole concept of the poor white sad girl, and they produced songs that are catchy to make it all work. and tada! i love summertime sadness and dark paradise though. not going to deny that i i listen to her every now and then, i just wish people weren't so stupid to think this is all true but if she makes them happy with her music then that's fine in the end i guess. man, i cannot believe that i really wasted my time to write out my whole opinion about lana del rey haha!

nah and i am not planning to watch it. i love rooney mara though.

die musst du über magazinecafe online bestellen! ansonsten gibts es die hier in berlin vielleicht bei do you read me und am hauptbahnhof hatte ich die letzte ausgabe auch mal gesehen aber ich bin eh immer zu lazy für irgendwas irgendwo hinzulaufen/fahren also lass ich mir alles ins haus flattern hah.

they tell you in case they can be bothered to answer at all. most of the magazines plan their editorials months ahead and only use their own photographers. talking about "proper" magazines though. there are so many online magazines now (a lot of them layouted so bad and looking so unprofessional!) that take submissions because they don't have proper sponsors and only consist of a few people who put them together in their free time. i get the point that they want to create a platform for other artists to showcase their work but they really ruin the market by letting everyone submit stuff for free. i find it quite annoying when i get emails from them asking for unpublished work.. why would i invest my money in an entire shoot for a publication that doesn't even have a big readership?!? they are not even able to buy any rights to pictures but ask for unpublished work which is ridiculous. at the beginning i thought it's nice to have pictures in an online magazine but i am sooooooo over it. the only nice online mag i can think of right now is neet. maybe cellardoor. idk.

mmm one is getting published in material girl which comes out in may so i will need to wait until i can post that.. i am going to shoot at a zoo in april and in may i am going to do a shoot which will be a collaboration with caitlin shearer, we want to do a little recipe book. like sucre by ladurée but a bit more personal, with fashion shots in between.
