Pansexual is a sexual orientation characterized by the potential for an attraction, romantic love, or sexual desire towards people without regard for their gender identity or biological sex.

The "Q" in LGBTQ has sometimes referenced "queer" and sometimes "questioning." Although queer was once considered offensive, many agree that it has been reclaimed as "an umbrella term for minority sexual orientations and gender identities that are not heterosexual, heteronormative" (Wikipedia).
