That moment when you feel like you are about to fall because you tripped over something, and then you catch your balance... you look over to your friend and start laughing... because it feels good to hold your ground ;)

a birthday. sometimes a belated birthday because there is less pressure, but the real thing is the best as long as it feels real according to one's calendar of choice. yepp yepp :)

The event that shaped my life was the moment when I was invited to join a yoga class. The first yoga class that I took with a dedicated yoga instructor in a studio. Soon after taking a yoga course in college and just about half a year after my recovery from aspiration pneumonia. Yoga did more than show me how to breathe. Yoga became the breath that I needed to learn how to be. In each moment. I'm not sure if I could describe that moment as an event, per se. Truth is, yoga taught me what shape is about. How each bend and twist can bring me into the truth within my self, as well as out beyond what is all around us. Yoga teaches me how to be still. How to let my muscles be strong. How to feel my bones are flexible entities like water flowing through river banks. Yoga lets me define myself through movement. Through stillness. Through allowing. Through activating. Yoga is more than a thing that I do. It is more than a practice. To me, yoga is my best friend.

from what I have been told, people judge me based on my appearance and then discover my strength and wisdom. which means that the prejudice was that one thought that I would be somehow weak and timid and naive, and then is surprised when I am my Sparkle of a self. Truth is, I am both strong and sweet.

really. Well it depends on whether or not it would need to be claimed. But that is not what you want to hear... let's see my dear:

If I were given $100,000 right now, then I would totally be in utter shock, joy, and some level of doubt because it would be too lovely to imagine. Next, I would Google search people that I could contact to help support Mykee Sparkle's GoodEaters dog food. Actually, realistically, I would look for an awesome room to rent near a Kosher kitchen in Maui that I can prepare vegan dog food at an affordable rate overnight. I would change the breakpads on my car. Buy a new yoga mat. Buy a flight for my mother to visit me in Hawaii and my brother in NYC. Go to Mana Foods and buy dog food ingredients, and relax. Because I can just be. Sparkle. Just be Sparkle. And have my own way to fund the projects that I want to do. Honestly, I know that the money I just listed is not going to be an instant $100,000. But the truth is that I know that I need that money to make the elements work. I would love to adopt a dog too. But seeing how life unfolds and allows, whoever this dog is will come to me. Or be here already. Or whatever. If I was given $100,000 right now. I would say Thank You. And mean it. Beyond any words of appreciation can ever express. Because I have been blessed with money here. Not yet $100,000. But to me, that will happen because there are great things to help this world that I can and will accomplish. So, with that money, I would get to work! aloha :)

the electric toothbrush. or maybe that floss on a toothpick. those advances in science are amazing. I could def see myself making the electric toothbrush though b/c one time my father taught me how to make a fan out of a flashlight.

We made the blades and he put them on a thing that connected to something else, and connected to another thing with wires. so instead of a spinning fan, we could have made a spinning head of a toothbrush... the design would need tweeking. but I do believe that it would be the invention that I have had been seeking.

it feels like we need a new generation of words. awesome is awesome. I love that word. how it looks. it is so eclectic in its lettering. when did people start saying neato and stop saying it. was is too trendy. it got thrown out as old-fashioned rather than vintage. what is a new word that can be used. it cannot be another word already defined. a new sound maybe. dunno. cool means something different than it used to. it's awesome that no one says, "the bomb" anymore. it sounded like something that people said to be cool. too much effort to say it. dunno. perhaps that is just I who feels so. yeeza. what about that. or tepita. maybe smyda. or turnacosta. the end.

      Once upon a time,
      someone created a rhyme,
      it gave creativity a crutch
and is used way too much.
Friends who can rhyme on their own,
are the kind that make me moan.
      say this to my face,
I'll throw you out of this place.
shoot you with a gun loaded with dust,
then stab you in the guts I must.
if you survive and that's not enough pain,
then a round of kicks you will gain.
when you die in your own filth,
I'll get your body approved by the Oregon Tilth .
sell your flesh to vegans all around
and your fat by the pound.
your skin will be my next handbag,
the rest will be fed to dogs whose tails wag.
love you more than a whore.

I used to think that skeet skeet meant hurry up. So I would walk around the neighborhood saying skeet skeet in a cute baby voice when I would walk Mykee Sparkles. He loved it. Was all smiling and doing the doggy laugh. I think he knew what it meant all along. Oh how ignorance was bliss.
