I started DJ'ing in 1984. I stopped for 7 years to focus on school, ect, then got back into it by doing college parties in LA and clubs (circa 1992-94), and I've been rolling every sense.

I dont idolize any human, however I do aspire to be Like Russell Simmons, Clive Davis, Barry Gordy & Bob Johnson. I feel these men have set the example of what hard work and dedication is, and their business saavy is unparalleled.

Favorite: Seeing artists, ect go from nothing to successful
Not Favorite: The EGOs and arrogance by some artists after they sell, you're only as good as your next record. Remember what got you there. -
Not spending time with my StepDad before he passed away in 96, we spoke on the phone the day before he died, and I saw him one week before. He is the reason im the man I am today.

Jazz is the favorite because everything comes from that foundation (HipHop, R&B, Blues). I'm also a fan of Classical music as well. I appreciate the instrumentation.
