Well, most people would never even consider the idea so I think that's why people are "patting me on the back" for it. But I agree. It's my business. It shouldn't really matter to other people.

I agree that for some people that would lead to a break up. But everyone's relationship is different. People prioritize things in different orders.
For example, if somebody worshiped sex their entire life and then got into a relationship where their partner was holding back, the most obvious outcome would be a break up.
But you can't assume that my boyfriend and I have the same cliche relationship as many other people. We find different ways to be close without necessarily being sexual. I think it makes us stronger than anything else. -
It doesn't bother me to respond to people's questions even if they are negative. I'll do what I want with my time, don't worry about it.

It's okay if you're not sure. Him and I ARE sure that we can make this work. Sex poisons the mind into believing that it is the only thing that counts. I'm not surprised that you doubt my boyfriend's willpower because it's clear that you are very weak when it comes to resisting temptation.

It's not about being ashamed. I am nothing but proud of having James for a boyfriend. But sex isn't going to happen between us. It's not something I want before marriage. He knows that and he respects that decision even though he doesn't agree with it.
I don't know why you question why he stays with me. Sex isn't the only thing that can make a relationship worth while. -
