It bothered me how many "friends" I had on facebook that I don't even share a substantial relationship with. I go on a deleting spree at least once a year, this was just a big one!

that sucks, because I haven't! there's only a handful of people from Burlington that I consider my friends, and I talk to each of them nearly every day. not to mention we have visits as often as we can manage. hopefully this clears things up for you! no worries, I keep my real friends incredibly dear to my heart.

none. I'm 150% sure I made the right decision! Toronto is incredible. I've met the best people, had the most memorable experiences, and it's still surreal from time to time that I'm actually in university. It's such a privilege, truly. there's just something about the city that gives you a feeling of purpose, even in the way you walk. not to mention there's so many opportunities to network and establish yourself. The city has everything and anything, no matter what your program is, there's always opportunities if you search for them. I can't imagine how I would do things any other way.

trust me, it's weird for us too! we talk about it a lot and just laugh. neither of us saw it coming, but isn't that the best? back in high school we were mere acquaintances, but now we're searching for an apartment together. you never know when and where you're going to find a good friend, but I'm glad I found her! d'awww.
