Unfortunately, we can't keep up with ALL news. We're only two people. However, it helps us out greatly when readers send in their news tips using this link: http://www.techolive.com/tips.

Personally, I’m a huge fan of TeamViewer. It has all the bells and whistles including a standalone version that you can run off of a flash drive and they even have an iPhone app. Best of all, it’s user friendly, which most other remote access programs lack. All you do is make sure that TeamViewer is running on your PC, as well as the other PC that you want to access remotely. Then just enter in the ID (each PC has its own unique ID) as well as the temporary password (or permanent password if you have that set up). Then just hit “Connect” and you should be able to see and control the remote PC’s desktop. Try it out and tell us what you think!

We're working on getting a review unit in, but we can't make any guarantees.

It's doing just dandy! Thanks for asking.

It's a little too early to say and we can't guarantee anything. At this point, we're ultimately focusing on Portal 2 this year.

Well, we don't see that much improvement in Office 2010 to warrant an upgrade from Office 2007. Sure, it has a few new features and what not, but you're better off just keeping 2007 for the time being.

We've never played StarCraft and probably never will.

Sadly, the text you see in their splash screen does not make up some secret message. Instead, it's just Nvidia tootin' their own horn. After taking magnifying glasses to our screens and nearly going blind, we have managed to make sense of the following words:
"EXTREME GAMING"
"DONE EVERY PLATFORM"
"SLI READY GPUS"
"PURE VIDEO HD EXPERIMENT"
"GEFORCE UPGRADE"
"POWERING 3D GRAPHICS"
Spaces were added here to ease readability. Original text offers no spaces. -
Overall, Steam is probably the favorite for a game sales and online gaming manager/client, but there's also GoG.com, Impulse, GameTap, Direct2Drive, and OnLive (later on). For online gaming management, Blizzard's Battle.net is a heavy contender also, but like I said, Steam is the preferred service for a majority of PC gamers.

Buy me a car and pay my tuition and then we'll talk. Also, I'm kinda hungry, can you help me there too?
-
No, but it looks like I'll be getting one. Anything for the readers.
