mm since this year hasn't gone halfway, I will alter my answer for the *past* year: Venice. I think I could've spend weeks in the city - the people are beautiful, let alone the buildings, canals, food - second visit is a definite.

It felt awesome, since this is what I've wanted for long.

I don't think I had any; if anything, it was more of a learning process than a shock. I think it was because I was ready and willing to learn the culture itself.

I got along well with my international friends - they are mainly individualistic, in which I like a lot. Additionally, I was lucky to find several people that have the kind of humour that I do. I don't get along with most of the Dutch girls, though, they just tend to flock altogether.
Most of my friends are the drink'n'party kind of people, and though I don't drink (which confuses them big time), we still manage to get along and I am not left forever alone.

since I haven't been a sucker for telling people about true feelings and those kind of shizzles I'd probably say all the things I've been meaning to say but haven't got the guts to do so.

I turn my music on or eat some chocolate (no matter how bad the habit might seems, chocolate really soothes my brain) but if all else fails then I just don't sleep and start the day instead
