Is the glass half full or half empty? Have you always felt that way? [31]
I used to think I was a realist, but maybe that was just an excuse to be a pessimist. I'm an optimistic existentialist now - the fullness or emptiness of the glass has no inherent meaning beyond what I give it. Today I choose see the emptiness as evidence of the amazing experiences I've had, tinged with the sadness that they're now long gone. And I choose to see the fullness as a promise that the best is yet to come, even if I can't be quite sure that it will come true.

Tell me a funny story. [7]
Two fishermen were out on the lake when one of them dropped his wallet. As they watched the wallet float down to the depths of the lake, a carp came along and snatched up the wallet. Soon came another carp who stole it away and then a third joined in. Remarked one of the fisherman, "That's the first time I've ever seen carp-to-carp walleting."

Debate #148: Should unmarried men lawfully have the option to separate his ties with a woman and her child before the child is born? [18]
I think a man should be able to do whatever he wants with his ties. If they're Hermes or of similar quality, I've found it best to keep them folded in thirds in the box they came in rather than hanging them on a tie rack. I really don't think the unborn child will care about any of these things for several years so I suppose we should just move on to Debate #149.

Do your socks always match?
I always match color -- white w/ white, etc -- but if they ever match in pattern, color of the toe, etc, it's pure coincidence.
