This is a tough question since I like several genres . . . buuuut I'm not afraid of cheating in a question like this, so I'll say: INSTRUMENTAL!~
Why? That covers a huge range from classical to soundtrack to jazz to New Age and etc. XD
Seriously, I'm sucker for good instrumental music, and it is a genre in my head, so that would be my favourite! -
A lot of it was self-taught. I did take a class in high school and in college . . . but it was basically an intro class that already taught me what I knew, haha!

I read the books and watched the films up to the fourth one. I can't stand the latter much. I'll stick with the book. My favourite character . . . well, I think I do like Remus and Severus the best because Remus is a gentle guy with a sense of humour, and Severus is just . . . well snarky. He's an ensemble dark horse, I think.
But to in fanfictions, I definitely enjoy writing Draco. I'm not sure why . . . something about him makes me understand him better than most characters.
I also adore Luna. She's the only female character I like, haha. XD
And Jake Gyllenhaal is awesome! How can anyone not like him? ^^ -
Okay, this is a difficult question. For one, which Suikoden? Do you mean from each game or from the whole series? If it's from the whole series . . . *dies* That's a real hard question.
For the whole series, I guess I'd say Flik because . . . well come on. He's a good fighter/mage hybrid to have in your party! Aside his love from Odessa, he was a bit of a punk in the first game, but in the second game . . . GUH. Matured Flik is love.
Now from each game . . .
Suikoden I - Viktor. He made this game fun. Without that Bear, the game would have been lacking something . . .
Suikoden II - Tir McDohl because his rune helped kick arse. Okay, fine . . . a more serious answer would be Flik. See above.
Suikoden III - Considering that this was my least favourite game . . . and I didn't really feel much love for the characters except for maybe Percival . . . I guess I'll go with Jacques. His quietness just made him more mysterious.
Suikoden IV - HERVEY AND SIGURD. That's two characters. So there. Those two are just made of many wins. On the flipside, Lady Kika is really cool, and Ted . . . bless his tortured soul. :( Troy also won a special place in my heart.
Suikoden V - I actually liked Raja and Luserina as a NPC, but as for a playable character . . . I liked Kyle for the same reason as Flik -- the whole hybrid fighter magic user. Though using Zerase made the game so much easier LOL.
Suikoden Tactics / Rhapsodia - Personality-wise I liked Andarc. Gameplay wise . . . I don't remember.
Suikoden Tierkreis - Jale. He was awesome. Especially his "looooooooove" for the Hero! Busche was also struck my fancy, too! -

While I do follow a lot of fandoms, my main one being Harry Potter, I actually do not have an OTP. I like to have a variety of pairings to read and write, and it's thus more flexible and less limiting in my opinion.

My favourite animes are: Madoking Granzort, Dodge Danpei, Vision of Escaflowne, Junjou Romantica, Gankutsuou, Generator Gawl, and Rose of Versailles.
My favourite mangas are: Love Mode, Junjou Romantica, Innocent Bird, and way too many to name.
