I have played for approx 10 years now. But to learn the basics and manage to play songs, takes like a year. At that point you should have most chords down and play strumming patterns naturally. As a result you can play almost any song. More advanced skills take longer to develop

Awesome :D good luck and all the best for your novel. Who is this btw? And link me ur novel! There's no rule for when u should update... I just update when I feel like it except while I was trying to force myself to finish my novel xD I took time off and wrote everyday, at least 10 chapters. I was able to do it for a few months and finished my manuscript. Just write when you have inspiration but dont forget u can alqays force urself to write, no such thing as writers block its just about commitment a little bit of confidence and dont think or critique just write. Super happy duh XD it'd be like a shock to me, cuz I would've never imagined it finally as a book. It's been so long, been such a great journey but having it in book form will still be so surreal. I think that could happen some time soon, after all the edits are done and such. Looking forward to it... I still hope I'm the first official cell phone novelist here haha It will bring forward the movement and make it more legit, opening up alot more channels for the cell phone novel movement to be established!

yeah he's still affected, we're all sad. we've been losing one after the other, and like no ones around anymore :( either they all ditched for pal or just aren't around anymore. everyone's gone through so much, nick included, just went through a huge ordeal, last week was the worst week ever. it feels like a warzone lol, fighting off things in life and losing one after the other lol, hope ur doing well. i wish we could have everyone back and have the moments we used to share again. maybe someday. tell me how ur doing? is ur health ok

i think it comes to you over time... ive never strived but somehow over the years i find myself perceiving and understanding the world, people, philosophy, psychology, life, dreams, hopes, ambitions, love, all in a different way as i grew older and i tend to have become very wise... even amongst peers... not meaning to boast, but enough that people sometimes come to me for advice. it's odd though, because in a few years (like in the past) i'll realize the things i thought or the things i said now will be completely wrong because my perspective wil have changed to become even more mature and perhaps wiser or not. but changes will occur and then it might render the things i think now... untrue? its true at this moment but not true in the next. but anyway, i think it will come. i know i've become disciplined in certain things but also slacked in other things.. .but i've definitely matured in my responsibilities and capability to handle leadership and mentorship roles and so forth... its nothing i tried hard to learn but just happened. im not at the point of earning money, managing finances and making deadlines yet but i reckon it will come soon

yes when i was much much younger. i wrote fanfic continuously based off of whatever i was into at the time. i go through so many phases..usually just watever i just watched or read. so i wrote everything, star wars, harry potter, final fantasy, pokemon, lmaooo thats how my writing started anyway

HEY! been a while. very busy doing summer camp stuff, very tiring but so rewarding and fun. kids are so cool and cute and inspiring lol fun to inspire them as well, trying to get them to do all sorts of things music, martial arts, new media, take pics and videos, do science experiments, art, all sorts of awesome things, getting them exposed to life xP working on getting a few songs properly recorded, but its been difficult to get it perfect. kinda boring life bc it moves so slow yet alot of ppl have been running the race at astonishing speeds. weather has been good up to this week where it escalated into soaring temperatures lol was like 50 yesterday how hav u been?

heavy question there. xD i've said this many times but YUI is my greatest inspiration. her music and her life story all convey that same message of strength, inspiration, hope and power. that's what it does for me. every time i listen to it, it brings out the epitome of what i believe music to be (i.e. making the entire scene before your eyes so beautiful, no matter how ordinary that moment in life is or how sad or anything, or painting new stories and ideas in your mind, it unlocks the subconscious and brings about your dreams and emotions and everything that empowers you). Of course her life story is just as inspiring, how she left home with just her guitar to street perform and sell her original songs and how hard working she is throughout all these years never losing sight of who she is, where she came from and her love for music. There's magic to her music and it's always been a huge part of me. Next there's also many other inspiring artists too...
i love G.E.M.'s voice and her singing abilities, her music also is inspiring and magical. I guess it really comes from the artist's beliefs and values. her faith and also what music means to her and what she hopes her music can do for the world. it really comes through.
David Choi, Joseph Vincent, AJ Rafael, Clara, Megan Lee, and many more, a bunch of youtube artists I follow are all my favourites, i love their style, because they're mainly acoustic style and they're inspiring in their journey towards their dreams and just how talented so many people on youtube are. (though that's also a source of depression for me) XD
