I know the feeling, I can never seem to concentrate when I'm meant to be doing work. Hmm, since it's only 11am it hasn't been very exciting. But yesterday was lovely, I saw my dad, got a 7" in the post, got paid and then spent all of it on eBay, then in the evening I watched Firefly with my mum. Slightly boring, but simple things make me happy lol

You wouldn't know who the hell she is, but her name is Aleksandra Lowe. She's one of the characters I write about in my work. She is incredibly flawed but what human being isn't? The thing about her that I admire the most is her honesty. I wish I was as honest as she is. To be honest if you knew anything about her, you'd probably think she was a raging bitch, and sometimes she can be but really she's just as fragile as they rest of us. I like that about her, she acts tough and strong and it convinces her that she is. Don't get me wrong, she is an incredibly strong woman, but she doesn't really know how to deal with being weak. This probably isn't convincing you that she'd be a good person to want to be, but there's something about her that I love very much and admire even more.

I do! I agree, most definitely. My mum thought I was disturbed or something because I have wanted glasses for years, then I finally got them this year and I was so thrilled. xD
