Yes I do. I think all drugs should be decriminalised. I have answered this question on here but a long time ago. To summarise my answer:
1. The war on drugs doesnt work. Prohibition is not effective.
2. Addiction should be seen as a health issue not a criminal justice issue.
3. Priority and resources should be given to education and harm reduction not police and jails.
4. It is hypocritical to decide which drugs are ok and which are not. Tobacco and Alcohol are arguably more harmful to individuals and communities than Marijuana.
5. People have the right to get high. People have the right to accurate information and informed choice about what goes in, and what does not go in their body. Societies around the world and throughout history have engaged in perception altering activities and this has played an important part in our politics, culture, religion and philosophy as well as our recreation.
