What books have inspired you to read more?

  • Anna Moore

When I first started really reading on my own Amelia Atwater-Rhodes was definitely my inspiration. I read Demon In My View my first year of High School and absolutely fell in love with the world. I then read Shattered Mirror, then the rest of the Den of Shadows books, then moved onto The Shapeshifters/The Kiesha'ra series, and I just kept going from there. I own every single one of her books (in single format, and the series bound releases), and I generally buy her new books the day they come out (and def. within the first week). Up until then, I hadn't really read anything but classics (Hamlet, Romeo & Juliet, etc) other then what my mom read to me when I was younger, but Amelia opened up a whole new world for me. From there I went on to reading Melissa Marr, who opened up other new doors for me - and Courtney Summers/John Green who taught me to love contemporary.
