My new school is totally different than CCA, private and public schools are very different places for sure! I can't believe that you are a senior already!? It's just like yesterday you and your sister were in 6th grade. How is she doing? I checked out some of your artwork on your site. Really great stuff! Are you going to attend art school or college? What are your plans?

Of course I remember you! I still have that math poster, it's one of my favorite examples to show kids. How are you? What grade are you in now? I'm no longer at CCA, this year I'm teaching at a public school in Santa Ana. If you do twitter, I'm @stevebayouk. It's really good hearing from you.

To try and live more frugally. It will be hard though because there are always unexpected expenses. I'll try. :)

Not soon enough! This new school isn't as much fun, I don't think I could do pizza or most of my fun stuff here. :\

Hey!! Doing well. Just had Kogi the other night because they were right down the street in Anaheim. It's funny how as soon as they were easier to find we stopped going as often though. How are you? I'm not sure if you knew Sabrina was pregnant, but we had our baby, Sophia Leila, she is 4 months old now.

I like the Twitter better. It's low maintenance. Facebook is too much work. :)

Thursday is the last day, it's a half day, school uniform required. Tomorrow we are taking our last science test, current events due Wednesday. Wednesday we are also taking our last math test.

I've been lucky in the sense that I haven't clashed with too many students. My style is to make learning as fun as possible while still keeping the emphasis on the learning. Most kids get this and with those I have no issues. Some unfortunately take advantage and as a result can clash with the personality of the classroom environment. Above all I never try to bring my personal life into the classroom, especially things that would hinder the learning process; I'm sure most kids didn't even know how sad and upset I was during my dad's hospital ordeal and passing. I try to give my all to the students and for those who are either too lazy or too dishonest to appreciate real learning, they inevitably miss out on what could be an exciting and memorable school experience.
