A fitted long (mid thigh length) black wool coat—Just bought mine 3 weeks ago, I'm totally ready for fall already.

I LOVE BOTTEGA VENETA. Their leather handbags and woven pieces are absolutely luxurious.
Plenty of people are aware of the brand, it just takes a keen fashion eye to spot a Bottega because they don't splash their name all over their goods and to be honest, I really like that.
What I like to think is that Bottega is for the rich who like to be discreet about it. They enjoy luxury but they don't need to flaunt to the world that they have money, but if others could only know that that woven basketweave leather Bottega purse that they carry actually cost more than a down payment on a brand new car. -
I personally like Zara's leather goods. Its decent especially for the price you pay for it.
Aside from the price, concentrate more so on the fit of the jacket—Is it flattering? Fitted? Too long? Short?
If you are investing in your first leather jacket, consider the versatility of the look of the leather—a classic look that will never go out of style rather than a fashion statement piece.
Also, If your budget is roughly around $300-500, check out the brand "All Saints". They have a few locations around the States and Europe. They have AMAZING leather jackets roughly around that price range or more and when they go on sale, they really go on sale. I bought a beautiful distressed leather biker jacket there last year in New York for only $250. -
Navy looks great with brown or with grey. So with a navy blazer, think of brown or grey trousers, a nice dress shirt with a print or pattern if you are feeling adventurous or a classic white or blue dress shirt is always a smart choice and also please wear a tie—Weddings are a formal, unless its on a beach in Hawaii or Mexico.
As for footwear, rich dark chocolate brown leather dress shoes with a complimenting belt looks great with navy. When sartorial and formal dressing, the belt should ALWAYS match the colour of the shoe. -
It depends on the fabric of the maxi skirt. Linen is definitely NOT appropriate for fall.
Look for wool or heavier cottons if you desire to wear a maxi skirt in the fall.
As for your second question? I would pair everything with a fitted black leather biker jacket. The leather jacket can make any outfit like effortlessly edgy without looking like your trying too hard. Little black dress or a white dress shirt & tie? Throw on that leather jacket over it and off you go. . . your stuffy look is instantly made comfortable but still very put together. -
I LOVE trench coats and I definitely wear them as jackets—Rain or shine, it does not matter.
I've worn a trench coat here: http://www.thestarvingstylist.com/2009/12/100th-post.html

Need I say more about trenches? -
I actually do watch the show and I would LOVE to be on it if I was given the opportunity—I'm sure I can easily stir up some shit within other cast members.
And my favourite is David Robert—Only because I have a fat crush on him. -
I don't know very much on the brand to be honest, but from what I've seen they have great selection of smart looking boots.

Thanks for the birthday wishes in the earlier post! =)
Anyways, I personally love the Alexa—the original is a great size especially for the petite. Its a great top handle carrying bag as well as over the shoulder with the strap.
I adore my oversized Alexa and I'm sure you will too. -
Hi Tyler!
I originally went to an institute and majored in Marketing Management but after a year of school, I didn't feel that it was right for me and later took a program at Blanche Macdonald Centre and studied Fashion Merchandising.
I hope that helps! =) xx -
First, thank you for your birthday wish!
Secondly, I can't really give you a hint but lets just say its completely scandalous and it takes two people ;) -
Since no one was going to spoil me, I spoiled myself silly while I was in LA for my birthday.
I bought a Prada zippy wallet, a Louis Vuitton clutch, a bracelet at Marc Jacobs and two entire outfits from Opening Ceremony.
I'm happily content satisfying my own needs. -
Like my handbags and shoes too, I use 'Tana Style 16 Protective Spray' on all my leather goods. It helps protect it from stains and keeps it conditioned.

I work at all the locations in BC.
Even though you didn't catch me, I hope you had a wonderful visit in Vancouver! -
Its a Damier Zippy clutch with a side handle. I've had it for over 5 years now.

YAY CANCER BABIES!
Many of my closest friends are Cancerians. We all understand each others need for assurance and constant attention so we feed off each other. Only Cancers will understand each other better than any other sign. Yay for Cancers!
