I have the cavitie that is the most anit-social flat in the whole of my university, like seriously everyone is just sitting in their rooms all day! We moved in yesterday and the longest conversation I've had has been with my best friend on the phone. I NEED TO FIND PEOPLE WHO TALK OR IM GOING TO GO CRAZY!

Spain!!!!

Like seriously I've had it up the /here/ with England. Im often proud to be British/English etc but that closing ceremony was 75% a disgrace.

After two weeks of sporting achievement, sucess and enthusiasm atheltes were branded the 'new role models' and that the games would leave a legacy - well tonight reverted to idolising celebrities such as models, singers (some of whom were way past their best) and personalities.

WHY WAS RUSSEL BRAND THERE - He is the last person I'd want as my role model.

Instead of recognising sporting achievement the closing ceremony seemed like an attempt to show off, and we did it pretty badly.

There is SO MUCH TALENT in the UK and I know we couldn't have it all but why have Emili Sande sing twice (opening and closing ceremonies) her voice is lovely, yes, but so is Katherin Jenkins, Adele, Leona Lewis etc etc.

We have a thriving classical and Jazz scene and I saw none of that. Yes our old bands were good but we didnt need all of them D: We needed a celebration of sport and all I was was a celebration of a number of celebrities who I would not want my kids to look up to one day.

So yes I would like to live in spain as when I went for a catholic festival last yeatr they were all lovely :)
