      1) You read the entirety of our formsprings? Were you really bored or something?

      2) It is 4328723786% possible for people to remain friends after they break up. It is not always easy but it's possible. He and I still enjoy the crap out of each other. We call each other when we're bored or need to bitch or need to bounce ideas off each other. He lived with me for a month before he moved to Seattle. We are enormously fond of each other.

      3) As to why we broke up, there are a few reasons, none of which I wish to get into on formspring. Sorry, I feel a little weird/uncomfortable airing that in this kind of forum.

      THIS IS AN EXCELLENT QUESTION.

I'm Stacey. Who the heck are you?

    6. Stacey

Seriously? How do you think I feel?

(If your answer was anything other than "incredibly sad" - your answer was incredibly wrong.)

Coffee's more of a habit than a need. I could do without it, but I would be a CRANKY bitch about it.

I'm not much of a liquor person, so I wouldn't miss that.

BUT YOU CANNOT MAKE ME CHOOSE BETWEEN WINE AND BEER.

Not at all. I worked and worked and worked and it sucked and then I cried.

      At this exact second?
Not at all. I am feeling overwhelmed and overworked and underslept and overcaffeinated and generally put-upon in a work capacity.

      Generally speaking, though?
I'm decently happy. Things could always be better, but they've certainly been worse.

There was NOTHING scandalous about my high school and middle school experiences because I was a giant self-righteous prude. Also, I wasn't exactly "pretty" either, so there wouldn't have been scandalous shit if I tried.

Let's see...in junior high, my best friend Andrea and I watched "The Craft" too many times and decided that we were going to learn about Wicca because we had entirely too much free time and not a lot of parental supervision. Anyway, my mom thought this whole thing was kind of hilarious because I kept checking out bizarre books by "Silver RavenWolf" from the library (that is seriously this woman's published name. - look her up), so she bought me a Ouija Board, and my hyper-religious godmother found out and FREAKED OUT.

Now, my hyper-religious godmother's son-in-law also happens to be an ordained Greek Orthodox priest. So she goes and tells the priest-in-law that her godchild has this tool of Satan or whatever and they BOTH show up at my house and lecture me for like, a half hour about how I'm allowing Satan into my life and so on.

Religion, man. I don't get it, sometimes.

But yeah, sorry this isn't at ALL scandalous. I was a really lame kid. I didn't get into trouble. I went to school. I went to work. I did lame things with my lame friends and we didn't drink or smoke or anything. BOR-ING.

It would appear that way, yes. I have pretty bangin' taste.

As to Mitchell and Webb - my ex turned me on to That Mitchell & Webb Look and That Mitchell & Webb Situation. SOMEHOW I have managed to not watch a single Peep Show episode, though I love David Mitchell when he shows up on Big Fat Quiz Of The Year.

THANK YOU. I wish I knew why more people don't totally love this movie. I found every single moment of it to be totally charming and awesome without feeling like schtick.

I love Will Ferrell playing a straight man and not an alcoholic man-child. I think Maggie Gyllen-toomanydoubleletters is totally adorable in this and manages NOT to look 30 years older than she actually is, like she does in every photo of her ever. Emma Thompson is magic all the time. Dustin Hoffman's literature checklist makes me super happy.

And then there's the whole "this was filmed in Chicago but is not obvious unless you live in Chicago" bit. I recognized a CTA bus first, and then the UIC campus and THEN realized that the hospital scene was filmed in my old office building and it made my day a little bit.

Anyway. Yes, come watch Stranger Than Fiction with me. It's my favorite. Don't make fun of me when I inevitably cry.

Thank you! That cut was seriously the most nerve-wracking hour; I don't think I let go of the arms of the chair once the whole time.
