      For TSE2 I used a combination of both Renoise and Sonar - but there's no reason I couldn't have done the entire soundtrack in either of the two. The only reason I believe someone might suggest Renoise isn't suitable for orchestral projects would be on the assumption that you would use the builtin sampler to try to achieve the entirety of the orchestral spectrum, which probably isn't feasible - at least, it would be extremely difficult to do so. I used Renoise's VSTi functionality extremely heavily. Unfortunately, I also relied on some of the more pricey sound-packages -- but that doesn't mean that there aren't cheaper alternatives. For starters doing orchestral projects I highly recommend East West / Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra - there are several 'levels' of this product: Silver, Gold, Platinum, and pro versions of each that act as stepping stones and add articulations. Ultimately, the more you've got to work with the better. The best 'bang for your buck' would be to grab Gold over Silver, but sometimes that's not feasible and there are upgrade packages. If you can hold out I recommend waiting until you can afford one of the bundles, like the complete composers collection (soundsonline.com).

      I enjoy all genres of music, particular progressive anything, classical - I have a sore spot for symphonies mixed with rock and/or rap artists, and I have a deep passion that I keep tucked away and hidden for the secret art of Saulescarian.

      Also see: E.S. Posthumus, Nobuo Uematsu, Camera Obscura, Florence and the Machine, The Faint, and more.

      I actually enjoy learning a lot and I know I've got a long way to go before my bonesaw can be considered ready.

      In all seriousness, I am confident in my ability to pull out a tune in good time but I consider myself by no means a performer - I'm working on that one!

      Fun question! I like a confident girl who knows what she wants and doesn't have to second-guess her intuition or what she does. Since we all can't be so perfect I think someone who tries their hardest to achieve their goals anyway is pretty attractive. I also like a girl who knows how to have fun. Who's asking, now? (;

      Generally speaking, I'm not big on Pokemon (yikes), but if I had to pick just one, of all pokemon to like, it would HAVE to be ... um... Jigglypuff.

      I love me a singer.

      I am very very fond of wherever I call home, which is currently Cincinnati - but Louisville is pretty cool in its own right. Also cool, New York City - but there are a lot of cities I've yet to see.
