I think you'll always have a soft spot for your first love. It's a affection that has the newness that can't be replicated by any other relationship. So I think you could be glossing over it a little because she was your first, or maybe are genuinely in love with her. Do you know if she feels the same? How did you two end things previously? That makes a difference in how you feel about her now. You need to think about that and maybe, with caution, explore all things. Sometimes the past is a past for a reason. Good luck.

More of a morning person. I can wake early and sometimes go to bed early. I do my best work in the early afternoon.

Atlanta i would assume has the biggest stud/femme dynamic, mostly likely because it's in the South where those traditional roles would probably be more accepted. But every city has them.

There's many I can think of, but this prompts the need to make a category for it on the site (thanks for the un-suggested suggestion). The ones that come to mind are both works by Skyy (Choices and Consequences), Nothing Short of a Rainbow by Kaution, Girls Just Don't Do That by Natalie Simone, Strapped by Laurinda D. Brown, A Different Kinda Love by Tanaine Jenkins and In Fear of Losing You and I Am Your Sister both by Ericka K.F. Simpson. They have the stud-femme dynamic you're looking for. Enjoy!

For urban lesbian fiction to read to her, I'm recommending Tongue Love by Ebony Reese, Nothing Short of a Rainbow by Kaution and London Reign by A.C. Britt, as well as My Secrets Your Lies and Stud Princess, Notorious Vendettas both by N’Tyse. All are urban stories with good romance weaved in. I think your girl will like them. Tell me what she thinks of them.

Only in the shower and the car. You should see me driving with the windows rolled up imitating Mariah Carey.

I do read online books, but not a lot. I prefer to print them out, and bind then on my own. That way in have a copy in my hands. I love the feeling of holding a book in my hands, and a computer screen just won't do.

I can't really say i was "curious" toward men, because I dated them in high school. But I think it was more what society expected me to do. I had always known I loved women since I was a girl and regressed that feeling. So no, I wasn't curious about men...I wanted women instead.

Physically, I like a woman who has some meat on her bones, voluptuous or thick bodied. Height doesn't matter, but I like a shapely woman; I'm truly a breast woman (ass, too, for that matter). But in saying all that, if her personality stinks, then none of the above really matters. She has to be funny, intelligent, thoughtful, and know herself pretty well in order to catch my attention. Women are wonderful creatures and I'm so happy the Lord made them :-)

I've never had a fist fight - unless you count play fighting with my brother and sister. I'm a lover, not a fighter.

Yes, I've had my heart broken, when my ex and I called it quits after two years of a long distance romance. We broke up because it was just hard being miles apart; besides that, she was my first serious girlfriend. It wasn't as mutual as I would have liked it, and it hurt cause I was still in love her for long time after. But as far as I know, I don't think I've broken any hearts...or at least they've never told me.

    14. Sistahs on the Shelf

I wouldn't say it's a deal-breaker, but there is something that's appealing about a woman who's never been with a man. But to me, these women are rare. I prefer that their heart and mind be a gold star instead, and that she have a good personality.

If you apply that logic, I guess people can be those things. Sexuality goes a lot deeper than the surface, but i think bicurious the better term to emcompass all curiosities whether man or woman.

    16. Sistahs on the Shelf

Bicurious women are just that - curious. It doesn't mean anything until a woman acts on that curiosity and then makes up her mind what she wants in a partner. I could say she's definitely not hetero, but I think she is more bisexual than anything.  Yet the bottom line is that only she can define her sexuality; no one else can do it for her.

Are you sure you don't want to have sex with men? Because it doesn't sound as if you're sure. Why would you be engaging these men if you weren't? I'm curious as to why you are putting youself in a situation if you don't plan to sleep with or be in a relationship with them. You say you're a lesbian, so just be honest with these men - and mostly yourself.

Yes, there will be a sequel to Consequences. The new book from Skyy will be Crossroads, scheduled to be published May 24, 2010.
