I would have to go with Ralph Cifaretto. He was a total asshole, but a funny one none the less.
-
There are quite a lot to choose from. For now I'm gonna go with the time that Paulie was pissed at Christopher (In Season 6B) and he drove all over Chrissy's front yard. Hilarious.

I think it's awesome that people can still speculate on this question and it's almost been 3 years since the show ended. If there was a definitive ending, what would we still be talking about???
-
I think AJ Soprano would last about as long as Brendan Filone did in the first three episodes of The Sopranos trying to be a "made man".
-
Definitely. If you re-watch the final season, everything in Tony Soprano's world is withering & crumbling away. People are dying. Neighborhoods & stores are getting knocked down.
We lived through Tony Soprano's prime. I'm not sure if AJ would ever take up the reigns, but even if he did, he wouldn't last long.
Shouldn't we be wondering whether Silvio lived or died? LOL -
If you look at the model of the show - one of it's biggest strengths was having 13 episodes to build an arc each season. That's about 13 hours of material to take in per week.
For that reason alone, I don't think a movie could do justice to 86 episodes (86 hours) that we lived through.
As much as we would all love the announcement, I don't think it could ever live up to what everyone WANTS The Sopranos to be. -
I think the finale was 50/50 with people either loving or hating it. I loved it for the fact that it was nothing that I expected and in regular Sopranos fashion it kept me hooked up until the final split second.
Regarding your question about the ending, here is my original blog on it. I will be re-writing this for http://sopranos.foochuck.com when I re-watch every episode:

The death of Adriana was perfect in my eyes. A lot of people doubted it at first, but I knew that she was gone.
It was truly one of the greatest and horrific of all of The Sopranos scenes.
Adriana really never did any wrong. Her death was so tragic and in my eyes, it was the turning point in the downfall of Tony & Christopher's relationship. -
My gut tells me that there won't be. The Sopranos fan in my wishes.
Seriously though, with the characters that died in the final season, would a movie still be fun???? -
