Oh jeez, I totally forgot about my formspring again... No, I'm not in the marching band, but I really wish I was! But, I wouldn't have time for it anyway. If you want to do it, go for it, anon! From what I've heard, it's an extremely worthwhile experience.

      Short answer. No.

      Long answer. Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

      Me? Awesome?

      No, no, no.

Lexxy and Skeptic are awesome for teaming up and making my album cover. (You have no idea how much I flipped my shit over that originally, herp)

Eight very talented artists (my girlfriend being one of them, yaaay) are awesome for doing the illustrations for my individual songs. (Seriously, go look at the individual song pages for Prospit & Derse.)

Alex Rosetti is awesome for being a souper guy and convincing me to attempt something out of my comfort zone as a musician (and therefore making me realize what I really need to work on: composing).

Nick Smalley is awesome for being a bro when I really needed one, and he and Mark Nabors are awesome for helping me get through the biggest hurdle I had with the Prospit half of my album.

Andrew Hussie is awesome for inviting me to be on the Homestuck music team, (with Blueberry and Radiation being awesome by helping me get noticed) because it's helped me become a considerably better and more confident musician and producer.

Seriously, need I go on? Yes, I'm aware that I'm missing people, including my friends from my hometown and my family (who are all awesome because they've been there for me forevers), but I could go on for a really long time.

Thank you for the compliment, but really, I'm surrounded by people who are way /way/ more so.

      Tanks, bro.

And just to clear up what I said earlier, I don't hate Detroit. It fell on some really hard times, just like my hometown (Saginaw, if you're wondering), due to the auto industry's blunder.

But it's not a horrible city, and I've been hearing that the city has been gradually turning itself around over the years. Also, there's a lot of cool spots to go to: some of the clubs, the sports venues (How about those Red Wings and the Tigers? Aw yeah.), the casinos, etc. Like any big city there's always something cool to do.

Again, it's a shame that people outside of our state forget that there's a lot of really awesome places in Michigan.

You, sir or madam, are totally missing out on Nick Smalley on Guitar, Pride (who did the art or Golden Towers), Blueberry (who is a really rad mod at the MSPA forums), etc. Michigan has some pretty rad people, and some pretty rad locales.

Also Detroit does not equal Michigan, unlike what most people seem to think.

For me? Wrapping up some commission work before the next semester starts. I've got a few video game soundtrack songs to speed through (aka, sleep will be lacking this week, too), and a couple other small commissions to finish up.

After that, in what free time I'll have left, I'm going to try to keep working on Homestuck music and try to get some recording done for Substance. I meant to release that album over the summer, but the Prospit & Derse concept moved along a lot quicker. It also gave me a chance to try a lot of new things as a composer, so I'm glad I did things this way.

And just so you know, I AM open for commissions. Now that Prospit & Derse is out, I'll have more time to work on other stuff.

As for what's next with the team, Kali's album is on deck. Definitely excited for that one. BT

Lexxy gave me the idea, actually.

I was actually considering doing something in the medium, possibly a furthest ring album (a fan actually guessed that was my album!). Turns out this was the better choice, considering I really enjoy duality/opposition themes for my music.

And as you know, once I started, I had actually considered having you do the Prospit half, Bird Broth. I am REALLY GLAD you convinced me otherwise.

As for what intrigued me, hm.. I suppose just really thinking about the twin moons and how the kids would influence the sounds of those moons. I felt like it was an interesting perception.

Sometimes, though, my job is to sit at a computer and type code, and I write music with a mostly software studio setup...

I'm at my computer a lot. I need to be at it less. Welp.
