Yes I do own a pet : my brother. A primate. The way he gets hold of my attention only to knick my new jacket. The other he felt compelled to ask me how things were going these days just to get my mind off my prime goal : Always check your brother when he heads out and double check what he's wearing. The Monkey managed to get away with my new jacket. Fooled once, but not twice... I'll get my own back.

One of my favorite 'secret places' of Paris is on Île de la Cité; Place Dauphine. Located between Pont Neuf and Palais de Justice. It's quiet and most of the tourists seem to be more interested in the Pont Neuf and the Seine or the view towards the Eiffel Tower for sunset. Locate on google maps : http://g.co/maps/q447t
Moreover, I took you there for an afternoon pitstop! the place is picture perfect nearly during all seasons... with a preference for steamy summer evenings with a beer and friends, a ghetto-blaster and cool music. -
